Sharing Care with the People of Nepal

By Jeff Arnold, CEO and Chairman

For nearly a week now, we’ve seen story after story of incredible tragedy coming out of the Nepal earthquake, which so far has claimed nearly 6,000 lives.

But there also have been stories of triumph. News of the four month old baby that was rescued from the rubble brought tears of joy to many. And just yesterday, a fifteen year old boy was found alive. In the midst of all the suffering, these miracles remind me to have hope – and they also remind me that those who survived the earthquake have a long road ahead of them, whether recovering from injuries, rebuilding their homes or just trying to find clean water. That’s why it’s more important than ever to do more than just read the headlines – each of us has the ability to take action and support the people of Nepal. And it doesn’t take much to make a difference.

Please consider making a donation in any amount to one of the amazing groups – in particular NGOs with boots already on the ground – such as our trusted partner, the American Red Cross.

Together, let’s share care with the people of Nepal.
