No Excuses for Progress

While we’re proud of the technologies we build at Sharecare, it’s the people who use our products every day that make our life’s work a reality – and that includes the thousands of subject matter experts who engage with consumers on our platform. Yesterday, our Sharecare team in Atlanta had the opportunity to see one of our most active experts in action, when celebrity trainer and author of “No Excuses Fitness” Donovan Green stopped by our office. Donovan, who trains Dr. and Lisa Oz, among many others, sat down with the host of Sharecare Radio, Dr. Darria Long Gillespie, for a live interview about his philosophy on strength training (listen to the podcast of his interview or subscribe on iTunes). But the best part of the whole day was when Donovan led our employees in his signature Chair Workout, designed specifically to combat the negative health consequences of a sedentary workday. Inspired by his message and energized by the quick but effective workout, employees lined up after to get a signed copy of his book and snap photos.
Donovan’s visit was not only a great opportunity to hear from an incredibly knowledgable personality, but also to show how easy it can be to make your health a priority, even during a busy work day. As Donovan says, “No Excuses!”
