Georgia On My Mind
By Jeff Arnold, CEO and Chairman
Newsweek recently published a special report about innovation in Georgia, and it provides excellent insights on why I have chosen Atlanta as the headquarters for all of the companies I started over the last 20 years. From CNBC ranking Georgia’s workforce as the most effective in the country to the creation of more than 320,000 private sector jobs since 2011 and compelling tax incentives, Georgia means business.
While it’s common knowledge that Delta, Coca-Cola, The Home Depot and CNN have their roots in Georgia, the fact that many companies have recently relocated their global headquarters here – including Porche, Mercedes-Benz and Invesco – attests to the unique environment. In addition to providing a useful overview on the market, Newsweek’s report also features Q&As with executives from some of Georgia’s high-growth companies, a few of which are in the digital health arena, including Sharecare.
We are honored, both to be included in Newsweek’s report and call Georgia home.
