Introducing Sharecare’s 2025 summer cohort of all-stars on International Intern Day

Every summer, Sharecare provides current students in a degree-seeking program and recent graduates – from either four-year college or graduate-level programs – with the opportunity to gain work experience through paid internships. Past interns have gone on to pursue prestigious graduate programs, work for nationally recognized employers, and a few have even joined Sharecare as full-time employees!

In honor of International Intern Day, we’re thrilled to introduce our 2025 cohort of interns at Sharecare, who make us confident in the leaders of tomorrow. We’re grateful for the many contributions of our interns: Addison Sullivan, Christopher Johnson, John Graner, Joshua Hoekstra, Maggie Cox, Miles English, Nader Hilmi, Ryan Lewis, and Simrin Kullar.

Working across several departments at our company, this year’s crew hails from a variety of hometowns, life experiences, universities, and programs – bringing their unique talents and perspectives to gain real-world experience in their chosen disciplines alongside Sharecare’s teams.

Addison Sullivan

  • Hometown: Pennington, New Jersey
  • Area of study: Majoring in cognitive science and Spanish and minoring in business at the University of Georgia
  • Sharecare team: Life Sciences sales
  • Favorite part of the internship: The opportunity to learn about Sharecare as a whole as well as getting to experience how important culture and collaboration are for organizational success. Through working in the office and learning and contributing to teams across Sharecare’s divisions, I have met incredible, intelligent people that have shown me the collaboration needed to have success in any professional environment. I could not have had a better experience!
  • Post-internship goals: I plan to complete my degrees at the University of Georgia and explore a career path in healthcare.

Christopher Johnson

  • Hometown: Hillsdale, NJ
  • Area of study: Studying advertising management at Michigan State University
  • Team: Life Sciences pricing
  • Favorite part of the internship: Being able to impact the team in meaningful ways while still learning about the entire business.
  • Post-internship goals: I am looking to launch my career in the advertising or marketing industry where I can apply my newly refined skills to help brands grow and connect with their audiences.

John Graner

  • Hometown: Atlanta, GA
  • Area of study: Majoringin marketing and minoring in economics at Tulane University
  • Sharecare team: Marketing
  • Favorite part of the internship: The opportunity to work with and learn from so many highly accomplished people. Sharecare is a big company, but it feels small due to everyone’s ambition and entrepreneurial spirit. The culture here has allowed me to explore many different fields and gain valuable insights from the talented people who have built Sharecare into what it is today.
  • Post-internship goals: After my internship, I plan to finish the final two years of my undergraduate degree at Tulane. Beyond that, I don’t have a specific professional path set in stone for myself. However, I do know that I’ll be happiest in a role where I can help others. My time at Sharecare this summer has shown me the power of making a tangible, positive impact on people’s lives and how fulfilling that is for me.

Joshua Hoekstra

  • Hometown: St. Cloud, Minnesota
  • Area of study: MBA in Healthcare Administration, Belmont University (Nashville, TN)
  • Sharecare team: Business Enablement
  • Favorite part of the internship: One of the most rewarding aspects of my internship at Sharecare has been the opportunity to sit in on high-level meetings and strategic discussions, something that’s rare for interns and has given me valuable insight into the inner workings of a leading healthcare organization.
  • Post-internship goals: While I’m still exploring specific career paths, I’m particularly interested in working within the diabetes sector of healthcare. As someone who has lived with type 1 diabetes since the age of four, I’m passionate about contributing to innovations and solutions that directly impact this community.

Maggie Cox

  • Hometown: Aliso Viejo, CA
  • Area of study: Studying advertising at the University of Oregon
  • Sharecare team: Corporate Partnerships
  • Favorite part of the internship: The opportunity to learn under amazing leaders whom I get to learn from every day. I value the hands-on experience I have gained, specifically related to the life sciences advertising industry and the people I have met here at Sharecare.
  • Post-internship goals: After my internship I will be graduating from The University of Oregon in Winter 2025. From there, I hope to make a career in the advertising industry with my creative ability and strategic thinking.

Miles English

  • Hometown: New Canaan, CT
  • Area of study: Studying economics with a concentration in financial markets at Colby College
  • Sharecare team: Corporate Development and Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Favorite part of the internship: Attending the weekly lunch and learn sessions where we had conversations with executive leaders from across the company. Hearing from so many experienced voices gave me a vital perspective on the broader workings of Sharecare, which helped me better understand my role in corporate development.
  • Post-internship goals: Finishing my final two years of college

Nader Hilmi

  • Hometown: Raleigh, NC
  • Area of study: Studying journalism with focus in PR & advertising at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
