The 2021 Sharecare Awards: Celebrating another year of sharing care
Our sense of health and well-being – individually and at the societal level – has come to define this time. Our relationships with it are changing. The ecosystem of organizations, innovations, and interventions are adapting in parallel. And we’re witnessing the reverberating effects of our population’s health on every aspect of life and our communities today.
Since we first hosted the Sharecare Awards in 2019, it has been a special privilege for me and my colleagues, yet this year stands apart for this reason and so many more. Each production featured across our 14 categories were efforts led against the backdrop of an enduring public health crisis that has not only strained resources unlike any other event, but also made the health content produced by our finalists even more critical to the people they reach. Like many others, I’m grateful for their perseverance and deeply moved by the inspiring stories they’ve given me the privilege of hearing and sharing with you.
