Starting the Year With A Bang

By Jeff Arnold, CEO and Chairman

It’s already been a busy year for Sharecare, as we went from CES – where we made announcements with both ZTE and BlackBerry – straight into the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference, the biggest healthcare investor event of the year. It was an honor to be invited to present for the third year in a row.

In between these events, I sat down with the Atlanta Business Chronicle to talk about my predictions for digital health in 2016. The one I’m most excited about Sharecare playing a role in is the fact that I believe we’re going to see more innovation in the next 18 months than we have in the last 18 years – which incidentally was about when I founded WebMD. I also have had the pleasure of spending some time with Dr. Michael Finkelstein – you may know him as the Slow Medicine Doctor – who writes for Huffington Post and interviewed me about the intersection between health and technology. Dr. Finkelstein also is a newly minted expert on Sharecare, so be sure to check out his profile – I hope you enjoy his perspective as much as we do.

If these first few weeks of January are any indication of the attention digital health will command in 2016, we’re in for quite a year.
