The President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition Celebrates 60 Years and Kicks Off Its #0to60 Campaign
By Jeff Arnold, CEO and Chairman
Over the last five years, Sharecare has established over 160 strategic partnerships with organizations which provide their expertise to our millions of users. One of our partners is The President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition (PCFSN), whose members are appointed by the President of the United States to assist the Secretary of Health and Human Services in engaging, educating and empowering all Americans to adopt a healthy lifestyle, cornerstones of which include regular physical activity and good nutrition. We’ve had the pleasure to work with PCFSN’s members – who include the likes of Drew Brees, Misty Copeland, Grant Hill, Michelle Kwan, Chris Paul and Rachael Ray, to name a few – on several important initiatives, ranging from fighting childhood obesity to providing wellness programs to military service members and their families.
And this year – to commemorate its 60th anniversary – PCFSN will kick off a new campaign aptly named Zero to Sixty. The goal of #0to60 is to get people talking, moving, eating and living like never before through inspiration and innovation solutions, such as Sharecare’s recently launched Challenges, which in the coming months will launch a #0to60 Challenge to support PCFSN and honor its 60-year commitment to the health of our country.
