In a recent interview with Georgia Health News, I had the opportunity to reflect on the path we’ve forged at Sharecare to put all of your health in one place. Amid a changing healthcare landscape, our mission remains rooted in the value that this type of integration brings consumers and providers alike.

In the same Georgia Health News article, health economist Dr. David Howard also shared his perspective on our mission, and explained that any platform will have limited success without the ability to pull information from EMRs automatically – and we couldn’t agree more. In fact, that was precisely our foresight when we acquired BACTES – now Sharecare Health Data Services – back in 2013. For more than 25 years, Sharecare Health Data Services has been a leader in providing secure electronic exchange, delivery and integration of medical records and we’re continuing to respond to what we see around the corner.

Earlier this week at HIMSS18, the Sharecare Health Data Services team debuted our new secure cloud-based platform to tackle these challenges from the digital battleground. Beyond platform integration, this new innovation is designed to deliver on the quality, security and customer service needs of providers as they manage and access patient information each day.

As we explore new data-driven solutions to enable better patient and people care, we’ll continue seeking the foresight that allows us to respond to tomorrow’s challenges today.
