ATLANTA, January 13, 2015 – Sharecare, a leading digital health and wellness engagement platform, today announced that it is using its award-winning voice analysis technology to provide unique insight into the campaign trail performance of the 2016 presidential hopefuls.
Making its national television debut on today’s episode of The Dr. Oz Show, this proprietary innovation was initially developed as a smartphone app to help people improve self-awareness, personal relationships, well-being and, ultimately, their overall health. On the Show, Dr. Oz will demonstrate how people can use this application for themselves today; as well as unveil how Sharecare is utilizing the technology to reveal candidates’ stress levels and mindsets on the trail by evaluating audio from recent and future speeches and debates – including the upcoming Republican and Democratic presidential primary debates (check out a sneak peek of the segment).
On Friday, January 15, – the day following the next Republican primary presidential debate – Sharecare will publish analysis of candidates’ performance on www.doctoroz.com, featuring select video clips of candidates with graphical overlays to explain the analysis clearly, as well as comparative charts to summarize the results by candidate and topic.
FOR INTERESTED MEDIA: Beginning Friday, January 15, Dr. Oz and Erik Feingold, Sharecare’s chief innovation officer, will be available to discuss Sharecare’s voice analysis technology and its scientific validity, as well as provide additional insight into each candidate’s results.

About Sharecare’s voice analysis technology
Available to the general public via the Sharecare Beta smartphone app on Android, Sharecare’s proprietary voice analysis technology was built to help people improve self-awareness, personal relationships, well-being and, ultimately, their overall health. The Sharecare app analyzes stress indicators present in voice, called fractal patterns. The output of that analysis is a visual representation of the intensity and stress type detected, ranging from a calm “green” to a very intense “red” and shades in between, plus a short description of one’s mindset while they’re talking.
Sharecare is a health and wellness engagement platform that provides people with personalized resources to help them live their healthiest lives. Nearly 40 million people have shared more than 5 billion data points about their health status and habits with Sharecare, which uses that information to create a comprehensive health profile allowing users to access all of their health resources in one place, and dynamically connect to the knowledge, evidence-based programs and health professionals they need. Created by Jeff Arnold and Dr. Mehmet Oz in 2010, Sharecare’s predictive and personalized platform is accessed daily by millions of consumers, including viewers of The Dr. Oz Show, patient populations of the country’s leading hospital systems and every Soldier in the United States Army.
