Jim Bailey is president of Health Data Services for Sharecare, the digital health company founded to help each person – no matter where they are in their health journey – build a longer, better life by enabling health transformation at the individual, organizational and community level. Bailey has been in this role since July 2013 when Sharecare acquired BACTES Imaging Solutions. Bailey drives overall strategy, sales and operations for the release-of-information business. A recognized technology leader known for crafting a strategic vision to achieve business goals, Bailey offers a unique blend of global team-building, solution development, new business development and business operations.

Prior to BACTES Imaging Solutions, Bailey held the positions of vice president of strategic solutions and vice president of subscription sales for Autodesk, where his most significant achievements were the creation of system integration partnerships, the turnaround of the company’s subscription sales business and global enterprise rollout of premium support services. Previously, Bailey served as chief operating officer at Alchip where he was in charge of global operations and grew sales.

Over the years, Bailey’s career has included leadership roles as vice president with Virage Logic for worldwide sales and customer support, president and chief executive officer of Accenia, and general manager in the design-for-manufacture business unit at Cadence Design Systems. Bailey joined Cadence through the acquisition of Simplex Solutions. While at Simplex Solutions, he held various management positions including vice president and general manager, and vice president of worldwide sales. Bailey began his career as software engineer in 1982 at Control Data Corporation/ETA.

Bailey recently served as president of AHIOS, an industry organization whose mission it is to strengthen and enhance the health information outsourcing industry while promoting excellence in the handling and dissemination of confidential patient-identifiable information.

Bailey earned a bachelor’s degree in both mathematics and computer science from the St. Cloud University.
