Dave Springer is chief operating officer of enterprise for Sharecare, the digital health company founded to help each person – no matter where they are in their health journey – build a longer, better life by enabling health transformation at the individual, organizational and community level. As COO of enterprise, Springer is responsible for overseeing the management and execution of Sharecare’s partnerships with employers, health insurers, providers and health systems to serve their various populations.

Prior to this role, Springer served as president of Ornish Lifestyle Medicine™ – the first and only scientifically proven program to reverse the progression of heart disease – and the Sharecare Diabetes Solutions division, which became part of Sharecare through its July 2016 acquisition of Healthways. As president of these divisions, Springer leveraged his extensive experience in cardiology medical devices, including running the U.S. brand of St. Jude Medical’s comprehensive products, to focus his efforts on enabling leading hospitals and cardiology practices to offer the Ornish program to their patients.

Before joining Sharecare, Springer served as president and chief executive officer of Cayenne Medical, a sports medicine orthopedic company acquired by Zimmer Biomet, where Springer was appointed to oversee the $300 million sports medicine division. As president and CEO of CHF Solutions, he led its successful turnaround and acquisition by Gambro. Earlier in his career, Springer was also part of the management team at Quality Diagnostic Services (QDS), Jeff Arnold’s first company. After selling QDS to Matria Healthcare, Arnold founded WebMD, where he tapped Springer to build and lead the sales organization, which rapidly grew to over $1 billion in revenue.
