Dermot Waters is the Senior Vice President of Brand Strategy and Product Marketing at Sharecare, the digital health company helping people manage all their health in one place. One of the company’s first employees, Waters currently is responsible for cultivating new technology integration and partnership opportunities, and leads efforts to develop Sharecare’s marketing strategy and vision.

Previously, Waters served as Sharecare’s Senior Vice President of Product, responsible for building the company’s major products, platforms and strategic roadmap, during which time he also served as General Manager of

Prior to joining Sharecare, Waters led product development for CNN Digital. During his nearly 12 year tenure at CNN, Waters led many major initiatives, including several comprehensive redesigns of, digital strategies for six U.S. elections and the launch of the first CNN iPhone app. Also included in his areas of focus at the news network, Waters oversaw strategic partnerships with Facebook, Twitter, Google and other new media partners.

Waters earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Georgia; and an MBA in eCommerce and Computer Information Systems (CIS), and a Master of Science in CIS from Georgia State University.
